Grouping Individual orders to cook and pick up at once, and deliver to the destination via an efficient route.
Lunchy takes reservations for lunch that day before lunchtime, groups each customer's food orders by menus, and sends them to the restaurant. Customers only need to choose the menu they want to eat before 11 o'clock on the Lunchy site. There is no minimum order amount at this time, so you can conveniently choose the menu you want to eat and then pay by adding one dollar for delivery to the final payment amount. For example, Mr. Park wants to have a simple lunch today, so if he orders a sandwich ($4) and an iced tea ($1) as a drink, he can solve the lunch for six dollars
Orders received in this way are grouped and sent to each restaurant, exactly at 11 o'clock. This allows restaurants to avoid the 12 o'clock peak lunch time, and customers can have their lunch delivered at 12 o'clock.
After that, when all restaurants are finished cooking by 11:30, the riders will now pick up food from various restaurants. Since the average amount of food that a rider has to deliver are 80 to 100 lunch boxes, all delivery is done by cars not motorcycle.
Riders deliver the exact amount of menus ordered from each building. After that, customers who receive a notification will go to the first floor to find their food. A rider delivers to multiple buildings one after the other, so the delivery time varies from building to building, but we aim to serve all lunch orders around 12 noon.
In order to improve cooking efficiency in restaurants and reduce food sorting time during delivery, Lunchy limits menus to two to three menus per restaurant. This allows us to deliver as warm and high-quality food as possible. And to satisfy the demand for a variety of menus, we rotate a different menu every day and try to increase the variety of food as well.
